Australian Modern

Australian Modern is a unique publication. Its aim is to provide a retrospective view of Australian mid 20th century architecture, design and cultural history.

At BA Creative we love this mid-century period so we were very excited to be chosen by Australian Modern supremo Chris Osborne to work on the design of the website.

A clean and elegant design was chosen to reflect the simple, minimalist style of the 50s and sixties. This style also allows the great images to really shine. The site was built around the ExpressionEngine Content Management System and includes a blog section that is easy to keep up to date.

We became so involved in the project that we even placed a suitably classic ad on the back of the publication.
