Keys to Brisbane

Keys to Brisbane, an initiative similar to 'The Best Job in the World', offered the opportunity to be selected for a years free rent in a Brisbane luxury riverside apartment. Applications were open to anyone worldwide, with creative submissions and a public vote leading up to selection.

We helped to form a strategy, and provided overall online creative development. We created an identity and logo, and a website to pitch the idea to a worldwide audience. An extensive array of technology was used, including YouTube, Facebook and PayPal integration; resulting in applicant video submissions and active social media promotion and discussion.

Keys to Brisbane turned out to be one of the most unusual projects we've ever been involved with. The project never reached the critical mass to become economically viable, however it was wildly successful in the media and through social media channels. With the help of analytics tools, Keys to Brisbane was able to rapidly track and respond to any coverage or discussion which occurred online. A single mention on a blog or news site was rapidly discovered and responded to, with a PR campaign and responsive design and technical changes able to be implemented quickly.
